The data science Functional Unit at Perfios is looking for technically strong software developers to join our team. You will be working along with talented applied scientists and engineers on the next generation data science driven products and solutions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Implement next generation solutions that help build high performance distributed systems.
- Proactively diagnose problems and envisage long term life of the product focusing on reusable, extensible components.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders including product and engineering teams.
- Work as an Individual contributor build and deploy a solution end to end.
- Work with, educate and mentor junior team members.
Primary Skill Required
- In depth understanding of core data structures, and how to implement them.
- Good understanding of OS core concepts, Cache, Multi Processing, Multi threading and how the OS handles them. Should have explored / implemented an end to end life cycle of process / threads.
- Good understanding of at least one dynamic language (python/scala/Java) or familiarity with one compiled language like C++, Rust etc.
- Should have an experience in designing and building end to end event-driven systems.
- Should be able to derive optimal usage of CPU and memory for optimal deployment scenarios.
- A natural curiosity for how systems fail, coupled with exceptional troubleshooting and debugging capabilities.
- Good grasp of different software design patterns / coding paradigms like SOLID Principles.
- A strong user centric mindset and ability to challenge traditional barriers for better output.
Optional Skill Required:
- Understanding of Machine learning/Deep learning
- Good understanding of databases like MongoDB, MySQL, etc.
- Understanding of Cloud Platform: AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
- Experience in the BFSI domain is a plus.
- Experience contributing to open source projects.
- Experience in infrastructure for building an optimal ETL pipeline to support a wide variety of data sources (UI, external API, INternal Products and Different Formats of data) to run jobs / reports etc.
