Senior Software Engineer (NetSuite Developer)

• 6+ years of experience in SuiteScript 1.0 & 2.0.
• Expertise in NetSuite ERP modules with a strong technical consulting background.
• Full software development lifecycle (SDLC) experience within NetSuite.
• In-depth knowledge of the NetSuite framework, customization, and development.
• Hands-on experience with:

1. SuiteScript 1.0 & 2.0
2. SuiteFlow, SuiteBundler, SuiteTalk, SuiteBuilder
3. Client-side & Server-side development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, AJAX, 3rd Party APIs)
4. NetSuite integrations with Web Services (SOAP, REST)

• Experience with at least three NetSuite implementation projects, covering:
• Feature enablement, web services integration, and data migration (CSV import/export)
• XML, HTML, CSS, and SQL-based customization
• Strong experience in:

1. Scheduled Scripts, RESTlets, SuiteTalk API framework
2. User roles, security profiles, workflow rules, and data migration
3. Point-to-point and middleware-based integrations with cloud and on-premise systems

• Strong functional understanding of:

1. O2C (Order-to-Cash), P2P (Procure-to-Pay), R2R (Record-to-Report) processes

• Ability to analyze integration requirements and recommend the best technical approach.
• Experience working in complex integration landscapes involving multiple interconnected systems.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to mentor junior developers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• NetSuite certifications (Certified NetSuite Professional is a plus).
• Extensive experience with NetSuite integrations and customizations.
• Full lifecycle NetSuite implementation experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of ERP operations and integration platforms like Salesforce, Zuora, and Boomi.

What You'll Be Doing in This Role

• Provide NetSuite expertise by leveraging industry experience, business analysis, and best practices.
• Design, develop, and maintain custom applications within the NetSuite ecosystem.
• Work closely with ERP implementation teams to address customization and configuration needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage the NetSuite platform.
• Develop implementation plans, reports, custom scripts, and testing procedures to ensure operational reliability.
• Train end-users on new functionalities and reports.
• Gather business requirements for integrations and ERP enhancements.
• Identify and resolve system issues by recommending business process modifications.
• Analyze workflows, process improvements, and best practices to optimize business operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues involving external vendors and support teams.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies in business applications and recommend innovative solutions.
• Lead test planning, execution, and optimization efforts.
• Conduct business process mapping and requirement gathering sessions with customers.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Technical Scoping Documents.
• Build, develop, and test custom scripts and prototypes.
