Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Front-End Developer with expertise in
Angular and
CoffeeScript to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance Angular applications, optimizing for both modern and legacy systems. You will collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and accessible applications. This position requires a deep understanding of Angular architecture, as well as experience migrating legacy CoffeeScript code to modern JavaScript.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Angular applications with reusable components, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
- Optimize the performance, security, and accessibility of web applications.
- Migrate and refactor legacy CoffeeScript code into modern JavaScript, ensuring smooth transitions and continued functionality.
- Collaborate effectively with UI/UX designers and back-end teams to implement features and resolve issues.
- Apply version control (Git) and work in a collaborative, agile environment, participating in code reviews and team discussions.
- Implement performance optimization strategies such as lazy loading and efficient state management (e.g., using NgRx or Akita).
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across both Angular and CoffeeScript codebases.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Angular features and best practices, as well as front-end technologies in general.
Required Skills
- Angular:
- Strong proficiency in Angular, including TypeScript, RxJS, and various core Angular features such as components, directives, services, pipes, and modules.
- Expertise in state management (NgRx or Akita).
- Experience with unit testing frameworks like Jasmine and Karma.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and Bootstrap for building responsive web applications.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL integrations.
- Experience with Webpack, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Performance optimization and implementation of lazy loading strategies.
- CoffeeScript & JavaScript:
- Strong proficiency in CoffeeScript syntax and compilation.
- Ability to understand how CoffeeScript transpiles into JavaScript and debug issues with the generated code.
- Experience working with CoffeeScript in legacy systems (Node.js, Rails, or front-end).
