We are looking for you, a Senior Software Engineer to help us build and maintain the next tools or processes that will help the business to overcome our challenges. Help us design, implement and evolve our data analysis tools within a dynamic team working with various technologies.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have following key accountabilities:

  • Set up, build and maintain WinForms applications (C # / VB.NET) and Office
  • Development and maintenance of Backend code on Web tools (C # / ASP.NET)
  • Initiate and participate in reflections on the implementation of solutions
  • Provide guidance on technology and tooling choices to the team
  • Be proactive in the face of various issues
  • Respond to the challenges of tool performance
  • Participate and support the technological choices of the team (monitoring, mutual aid, presentations, ...)
  • Avoid scope-creep, over-engineering, under-testing and technical debt
  • Learning our business domain
  • Using good software engineering principles and best practices to solve business problems

Qualifications

Experience

  • 5 years+ in software development (Microsoft environment)
  • 5 years+ in Database or Datawarehouse Development
  • Cross-team collaboration and Agile Methodology experience
  • Willingness to use the appropriate tool for the job, not just the latest hot technology
  • You are autonomous, organized and versatile in your daily missions
  • You have good algorithmic logic and enjoy delivering quality, high-performance and tested code
  • You have great analytical and synthesis skills and you pay attention to detail
  • You enjoy participating and working on diverse projects and tasks

Skills

Essential

  • C# / VB.NET
  • Javascript / PHP
  • MS SQL Server (advanced including Stored Procs)
  • Office products (especially Excel and PowerPoint) / vba development and macros / VB6

Highly Useful

  • SAP BO tools (Designer, Rich, Webi, Security management, CMC, ...)
  • Big Query
  • Python (Intermediate+)
  • Relational Database Development
  • Query Tuning/Optimisation

Nice to have

  • Machine Learning
  • Delphi
  • HTML / CSS
  • Website / WebServices / API / IIS / Web configuration and administration
  • Knowledge of French language (written/spoken B2 or B1 level)
