Senior Site Engineer

Job Description:

• Liaising to LTA, QPS and other government authorities.

• Attend to technical matters at site by developing solutions to problems with the application of engineering concepts, practices and techniques.
• Planning of work and recourses with particular reference to work program to ensure timely progress.
• Close coordination with sub-contractors, supervisors, surveyors, laboratory personnel, foremen and to ensure effective teamwork.
• Provides relevant information and reports to Construction/Project Manager regularly.
• To liaise with consultants on the day-to-day inspection on site.
• To sort out discrepancies and other detailing problems in the construction works with the consultants and superiors.
• Implement any and all relevant policies, procedures and work instructions as so defined in the Company's Quality System and QSHE requirement.
• Assist Const manager to prepare daily/weekly and monthly site reports and submit to the planning department.
• Prepare MS, material and equipment request.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in heavy civil engineering / MRT /infrastructure projects
• Able to work independently and possesses good technical, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and willingness to learn
