  • Ensuring you are fully prepared for the service call prior to attending the client site, including ensuring spares are available
  • Perform onboard service and onsite commissioning within the region and worldwide.
  • Participate in the testing, calibration and verification of system setup of Emerson products and supplies of Marine systems.
  • Understanding the customer requirement fully in order to provide an efficient and optimum solution
  • Ensuring service reports are completed and signed in all respects, prior to submission
  • Provide comprehensive remote support to customers to ensure their continuing loyalty
  • Setting up, installing, configuring and maintaining simulation/demo tools or systems in the workshop/office as required
  • Carrying out On the Job Training when possible, for the rest of the team to share knowledge and experience
  • Maintaining the condition and certification of tools
  • Recognize and accept HSE Roles & Responsibilities as defined in Emersons Company Policy and Procedures
  • Be prepared to travel up to 80% of your time across the Middle East & Africa and India region

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience preferably on Marine automation, electrical and Hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to lead change and alignment on new concepts and approaches through persistence, self-motivation, follow-through, and commitment.
  • Great teammate who builds and maintains positive team member relations.
  • Able to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Good technical and communications skills.
  • Recognize and accept HSE Roles & Responsibilities as defined in Emerson s Company Procedures.
  • You are customer-focused and driven by a passion for making a meaningful impact, always going above and beyond to find the best solutions. You constantly challenge yourself to reach new milestones and are unafraid to question conventional methods, offering innovative solutions to problems.   • You are ready and willing to travel up to 80% of your time across the Indian sub-continent and internationally. Occasionally, you may need to travel during evenings and weekends, depending on business needs

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor s degree in electrical/Electronic, Marine or Instrumentation.
  • Knowledge on Lean Techniques, ISO 9002 Quality System and Inventory Management will be an added advantage.
  • Able to travel between factories in Singapore, if needed.
