Role Description The Senior Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for delivering advanced technical support and service for laboratory and biomedical equipment. Daily activities include diagnosing equipment issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and executing repairs to ensure optimal performance and regulatory compliance. The role involves field visits to customer sites, installation and commissioning of new instruments, calibration and validation, and maintaining detailed service reports and documentation. The Senior Service Engineer will collaborate closely with customers to understand service needs, provide technical guidance, and train users on proper operation and basic upkeep of equipment. The position also requires coordination with internal teams and suppliers for spare parts, escalations, and continuous improvement of service quality.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve complex equipment issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess hands-on field service experience, including on-site installation, commissioning, and customer-facing service activities.

- Candidates should possess solid technical support capabilities, including remote support, issue escalation, and guidance on equipment operation.
- Candidates should possess maintenance and repair skills for laboratory, biomedical, or industrial equipment, including preventive maintenance practices.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Biomedical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
- Experience working with laboratory or biomedical refrigeration, incubators, cryogenic systems, or similar equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to travel within the region for field assignments and manage service schedules independently.
- Familiarity with safety standards, calibration procedures, and basic documentation for regulatory or quality requirements.
