Job Title : Senior SAP ABAP Platform Engineer Generative AI Integration
Job Type : Full Time/Contract
Experience : 8 15 years
Location : Bangalore, Karnataka
Responsibilities
- Experience in ABAP development, including FIORI/UI5.
- Strong experience in REST/oData API creation and consumption.
- Solid understanding of ERP to S/4HANA migration, particularly custom code migration processes.
- Proven expertise in software engineering principles, product standards, and SAP development tools.
- Innovative, analytical, and curious mindsetan out-of-the-box thinker with strong business acumen.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; customer-focused and results-driven.
- Passionate about learning and experimenting with new technologies, especially in AI and language engineering.
- Design and implement solutions that integrate Generative AI capabilities into the ABAP platform, accelerating developer productivity and custom code management.
- Develop core components across ABAP runtime, SDKs, compilers, and language models.
- Collaborate closely within an Empowered Product Team, contributing to all stages of the product lifecycle: design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Drive continuous improvement of ABAP tools and frameworks to optimize performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Partner with SAP customers to deliver deep product expertise and ensure high-quality support and adoption of AI-driven solutions.
- Champion innovation by exploring new technologies and methods to enhance the ABAP language and platform ecosystem.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
