Role & Responsibilities: ***

  • Achieve Revenue and Market Share Targets:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand market share.
  • Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:
  • Identify and develop relationships with key accounts and potential customers.
  • Set up product demonstrations, discuss technical solutions, and manage complex negotiations to secure contracts.
  • Market Analysis and Strategic Planning:
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the Director of Sales, highlighting performance and strategic insights.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration and Seamless Execution:
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (operations, finance, customer service) to ensure seamless execution of sales plans.
  • Partner with customers during the initial days of product usage to ensure faster adoption and a smooth handover to account managers, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field. An MBA from a reputable B-School is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales within the Shipping and Logistics Freight Forwarding industry.
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in Business Development, preferably in a B2B setting.
  • Experience in SaaS or Logistics SaaS companies/start-ups is a plus.
  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively and build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
