Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven SrSales Engineer with expertise in Chains & Sprockets, Conveyors, and Material Handling Equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in sales and business development within the Cement, Power, and OEM industries, combined with sound technical knowledge of Bucket Elevators, Apron Feeders, and Drag Chain Conveyors. The role involves identifying growth opportunities, building key client relationships, and driving strategic sales initiatives for sustainable business expansion.

Key Responsibilities Area & Duties
Market Research & Strategy - Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and prospective customers.
- Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs to refine business development initiatives.
- Identify cross-industry sales opportunities to develop new revenue streams.
Sales & Business Development- Develop and implement a robust sales strategy to achieve revenue goals and expand the client base.
- Drive client acquisition and develop strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers.
- Present and negotiate techno-commercial proposals tailored to the technical and financial needs of the client.
- Ensure smooth project execution in collaboration with internal teams.
Customer Engagement & Project Execution- Coordinate with internal departments (design, production, execution, and logistics) to ensure timely and accurate delivery of solutions.
- Perform regular site visits for better understanding of customer needs and to explore new business opportunities.
- Collect customer feedback post-project and ensure continuous improvement in service delivery.
Industry Networking & Events- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Cultivate networks within cement plants, power plants, OEMs, and EPCs for continuous business engagement.
Financial & Sales Performance Monitoring- Assist in managing sales budgets, track ROI, and optimize resource allocation.
- Monitor sales KPIs and suggest improvements to sales and marketing approaches.
Qualifications & Skills Required
Education required
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Knowledge required
- In-depth understanding of industrial sales and business development strategies in the Cement, Power, and OEM sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge of Material Handling Equipment, including Bucket Elevators, Drag Chain Conveyors, Apron Feeders, and Chain & Sprocket systems.
- Familiarity with B2B sales cycles, including lead generation, client acquisition, proposal drafting, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Knowledge of techno-commercial proposals, pricing strategies, and project execution frameworks.
- Understanding of industrial procurement practices, tender processes, and OEM supply chains.
- Awareness of industry standards, regulatory compliances, and safety requirements in handling and delivering heavy engineering equipment.
- Ability to identify and analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to develop strategic plans.
- Proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and evaluating ROI for new business opportunities.
- Strong grasp of project coordination and cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless communication between sales, design, production, and logistics teams.
- Capability to analyze customer feedback and market response for continuous improvement in product offerings and services.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills to engage effectively with industrial clients and stakeholders.
Experience required
- Minimum 3-7+ years of experience in sales and business development in the Cement, Power, and OEM industries.
- Prior success in handling Chains & Sprockets, Bucket Elevators, Drag Chain Conveyors, and Apron Feeders.
Technical Competencies
- In-depth understanding of material handling systems and conveying solutions.
- Expertise in techno-commercial proposals, technical solution pitching, and pricing strategies.
- Hands-on experience in project execution involving cross-functional teams.
