Core Responsibilities
Accompany Consultant doctors on IPD wards visit.
Conduct medical procedures under supervision after getting the consent from patient's attendant.
Complete and correct documentation of patient files & records.
Check and authorize all diagnostic requisition slips.
Make available emergency medicines in Ward.
Monitor the Nursing care Proper Medication, timely vitals recording etc.
Attend to emergencies, and inform consultant doctors for further action.
Providing information regarding the patient's condition to his/her attendant whenever required.
Check the diet chart, medicine chart, and vitals chart frequently.
Coordinate with all nursing/Paramedical & non-medical staff of the department to maintain a high standard of medical care for the patients.
Provide care and treatment to women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods.
Diagnose, treat, and monitor diseases, disorders, and conditions.
Conduct routine check-up appointments and maintain follow-ups throughout patients care.
Perform and document physical examination and history.
Formulate a differential diagnosis.
Develops and documents an initial plan of care, modifies daily plan of care, and writes daily progress notes.
Obtain and document informed consent.
Prepare an appropriate discharge summary.
Follows Hospital policies at all times and seeks and provides inputs, as and when required.
Documentation - Proper documentation of all medical records related to patients according to quality standards (NABH).
