Openings at SRA / Manager- Rating Quality
Job Role:
- Data analytics using statistical and advanced excel tools to drive the quality agenda in Crisil Ratings
- Prepare various reports, including default and transition rates using data analytics, statistics for various regulatory disclosures as well as for senior management
- Financial ratio analysis to undertake post event reviews of credits which have witnessed sharp rating actions and present findings to internal committee
- Identify issues/areas in analytics or process in credit opinions which can be avoided or improved on a periodic basis and enable its implementation
- Interact and co-ordinate with various teams (including IT) on specific projects or deliverables on a periodic basis
- Prepare/update model validation reports as and when required.
- Independently work and deliver ad hoc project tasks as and when required
Candidate needs:
- Excellent advanced excel (including macros), statistical and data analytics skills. Ability to work with open-source language such as R-code would be an added advantage
- Strong analytical skills, financial ratio analysis. Strong understanding of financial concepts and business analysis
- Ability to work with large set of data and spot trends and excellent modelling skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of Indian corporate/ BFSI sectors and the general economic & business environment
- Innovative and solution orientation
- Is flexible and adaptable to work on varied assignments
- Ability to think out-of-the box

Essential Qualifications:
- BTech/Engineering graduate/Diploma in statistics
- MBA(Finance)/CA/CFA equivalent with 3-8 years of experience
- Work experience in credit risk, risk management
