Senior Quality Engineer

Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 – preferably internal auditor qualification

Knowledge & Competencies

•Knowledge of Quality management system requirements and QMS documentation.

•Experience in creating Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures and Work instructions.

•Knowledge of inspection standards and incoming inspection

•Experience in creating inspection plans for various components

•Strong project management skills;

•Strong problem-solving skills;

•Capable to train other people;

•Flexible and willing to work in Matrix organisation structure

Soft Skills

•Capable to work in team and independently too;

•Advanced oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write technical reports and presentations;

•Good command of English

•Prompt in planning, review & reporting

Qualifications & Experience

•Diploma or Engineering Degree (or higher), (Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering);

•Experience in Quality Development function

•Minimum 5 to 8 years experience in a manufacturing environment; (Experience in Automotive sector preferred)

•Technology knowledge and experience at least one out of the following commodities: Metal casting, Welding, Stamping, Plastic Moulding, Electronics, Complex assembly;

•Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 – preferably internal auditor qualification;

•Experience of inspection of components and assemblies

•Experienced in MS tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project);

Position Functions

•Working with SQ function and Quality function for the New Parts development.

•Create a local procedure, work instruction for incoming inspection activity based on the global procedure.

•Create the quality plans for (Initial and series) parts. Commodities are, rubber parts (o rings), Hardware (screws, nuts, bolts, seal rings) Gaskets. And machined parts (turn and milled).

•Create the quality plans for the project system business parts like fabrication parts, control panels, silencers, alternators, radiators, oil/fuel tanks etc.

•Review supplier quality documentation and compliance with the requirements

•Establish the system of Incoming parts inspection and documentation
