Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement robust test automation frameworks from scratch for web UI and API

testing.

• Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation architecture using tools such as Playwright, Rest

Assured, and other relevant automation utilities aligned to project needs

• Develop automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end test

coverage.

• Leverage AI-assisted capabilities in automation engineering for test case generation, script acceleration,

maintenance optimization, intelligent defect analysis, and productivity improvement.

• Evaluate and apply the right automation tools, libraries, and framework design patterns based on

application architecture and testing scope.

• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines to enable faster and reliable continuous testing, building

on the role's stated CI/CD exposure requirement.

• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to embed automation into the software

delivery lifecycle.

Analyze failures, debug automation issues, reduce flaky tests, and improve framework stability and

execution efficiency.

• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to expand automation coverage and enhance testing quality,

which is directly consistent with the original requirement to improve automation coverage and testing

processes.

Strong experience in Automation Testing, with supporting experience in Manual Testing where required.

• Proven hands-on experience in developing automation frameworks from scratch.

• Strong expertise in UI Automation using Playwright.

• Good exposure to API Automation using Rest Assured.

• Experience working with multiple automation tools, frameworks, and supporting utilities across UI, API,

and test management layers.

• Strong understanding of test framework design, automation architecture, test planning, and defect

tracking.

• Experience in writing, enhancing, and maintaining automation scripts for long-term scalability.

• Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Understanding of version control systems such as Git and collaborative engineering practices, consistent

with the source requirement.
