Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer, SDET, or Software Engineer

Strong coding skills in Python, or Go

Experience building automation frameworks for microservices and asynchronous pipelines

Hands-on experience testing distributed systems and message queues such as Kafka or SQS

Strong understanding of AWS services including EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB and CloudWatch

Familiarity with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, Postman, pytest, k6

Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins

Exposure to performance testing, chaos testing or fuzz testing

Knowledge of observability systems such as Grafana, Prometheus or OpenTelemetry

Strong debugging and analytical skills

Currently working at a product based org

Preferred

Experience with AI or ML workflows

Exposure to crawler or scraper frameworks such as Scrapy, Playwright or Selenium

Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation

Understanding of secure testing practices including SOC 2 and OWASP

Responsibilities

Define and manage the quality and automation strategy across core engineering services

Build automation frameworks for distributed microservices and asynchronous data pipelines

Develop integration, regression and performance test suites

Implement synthetic tests and chaos experiments to identify system gaps and bottlenecks

Improve observability with engineering teams using Prometheus and Grafana

Ensure latency, performance and accuracy targets are met for search and data workflows

Introduce shift-left practices for early validation through CI/CD and static analysis

Build benchmarking tools for throughput and cost optimisation

Contribute to internal QA tools for AI API evaluation and data consistency

Promote a quality-first engineering culture
