Job Description

We are seeking a skilledPython Software Engineerwith a solid background in software engineering and exposure to machine learning. The ideal candidate will work withPolarsas the primary data frame library and contribute to building, testing, and optimizing data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize data workflows usingPythonandPolars.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with a strong emphasis onsoftware engineering principles.
• Implement and maintainunit testingandend-to-end testing.
• UtilizeDockerfor testing and development environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions withinGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Apply a foundational understanding ofmachine learning conceptsin project work.
• Contribute to projects requiring someRubycoding support.

Must-Have Skills & Requirements

• Strong proficiency inPython.
• Solidsoftware engineeringskills (design, architecture, and best practices).
• Experience working withPolars(or similar data frame libraries).
• Knowledge ofunit testingandend-to-end testing frameworks.
• Hands-on experience withDockerfor testing purposes.
• Exposure toGCPservices.
• Basic understanding ofmachine learning concepts.
• Good to have some experience withRuby.
