What You'll Achieve:

As a Software Developer in our BT Development team in our Goa office, you will be working on

(CakePHP/ Laravel, Yii/ Phalcon) and would have an opportunity to work with a leading retail software solutions company.

You will:

Collaborate with the product team to provide technical expertise on requirements.

Contribute significantly to the execution of the product roadmap by designing and implementing

scalable backend modules and intuitive frontend components.

Take ownership of small to mid-sized modules and features and drive them from design to

delivery.

Write high-performance and maintainable code we run 5 million API jobs/day, so performance

is the key.

Review code written by peers and provide constructive feedback to ensure high code quality and

consistency.

Plan and automate test scenarios in collaboration with the QA team.

Ensure availability, scalability, and performance of modules and services being built.

Participate in capacity planning and system optimization efforts as we scale.

Work in Agile methodologies daily standups, weekly sprints, and retrospectives will be part of

your routine.

this role:

Essential Requirements:

Must have 25 years of experience in backend development using any one PHP 5+ framework

(CakePHP/ Laravel/ Yii/ Phalcon).

Solid experience with MySQL and good understanding of relational databases.

Hands-on experience with Angular.js or React.js or Vue.js.

Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 for responsive web development.

Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.

Desirable Requirements:

Exposure to Git/Jenkins or any other CI/CD tools.

Knowledge of AWS/Azure infrastructure services.

Working knowledge of Redis, Elasticsearch, or NoSQL databases.

Familiarity with secondary programming languages such as Python or Node.js.

Experience with performance profiling and optimization techniques.
