Job Description

Senior Performance Marketing Manager

Location: Hybrid

Type: Full-time

Experience: 3-5+ years hands-on D2C performance marketing

About NapChief:

NapChief is a fast-growing D2C kidswear brand. We sell through our own website (napchief.com) and all major marketplaces including Myntra, FirstCry, and Amazon. At Nap Chief, we're redefining kids wear for a new generation of parents. We craft premium, super-soft clothing that kids love to wear and parents trust. Our mission is to empower the young generation and we are looking for you to join forces with us to conquer this mission.

About the role:

You will own NapChief's entire paid acquisition function — every rupee of ad spend, every channel, the measurement behind it, and the results it produces. This is not a campaign-management seat under an agency or a manager; you are the in-house owner of paid growth, accountable for new customer acquisition and return on spend.

Responsibilities:

  • Media strategy and budget planning
  • Build the annual and quarterly paid media plan across channels: Meta (Facebook, Instagram) as the primary engine, Google (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube), and evaluation of new channels as they become relevant.
  • Plan budgets around kidswear seasonality: the winter peak, festive and gifting periods, end-of-season sales, and new collection launches. Scale spends into high-demand windows and protects efficiency during off-season months. Own the channel mix decision — how much goes where and why, reviewed monthly against results.

Campaign management and scaling:

Own account structure, audience strategy (prospecting, retargeting, advantage/ASC campaigns), bidding, budget pacing, and daily performance monitoring.

Make scaling and kill decisions on campaigns based on data, with a clear separation of new-customer performance from blended performance.

Run structured testing: audiences, creatives, offers, landing pages — with documented learnings, not one-off experiments.

Creative pipeline:

Own the creative testing roadmap: hooks, angles, and formats that work on parents buying kidswear.

Write clear creative briefs for the in-house creative team, run the feedback loop from performance data back into new briefs, and manage creative rotation before fatigue degrades results.

Manage UGC sourcing and influencer whitelisting for ad usage.

Measurement and reporting:

Own tracking health end-to-end: Meta Pixel and Conversions API, Google tags, GA4, and Shopify analytics. If numbers are inaccurate, identifying and fixing that is your responsibility.

Own attribution logic and reconciliation between platform-reported and actual (Shopify) revenue.

Produce weekly and monthly performance reports: ROAS (blended and new-customer), CAC, new customers acquired, spend by channel, and forward plan. Present these in the weekly business review.

Cross-functional work:

Work with the Shopify Growth Lead, who plans website revenue and allocates your budgets — you are accountable to each other's numbers.

Give landing-page and funnel inputs: where traffic lands, what converts, what to test.

Build remarketing and exclusion audiences in coordination with retention/CRM activity.

Track competitor advertising (Meta Ad Library and marketplace visibility) and platform changes; bring new opportunities to the table proactively.

KPIs you own:

Blended ROAS and new-customer ROAS against monthly targets

Customer acquisition cost (CAC)

New customers acquired per month

Paid revenue contribution and spend efficiency

Tracking and reporting accuracy

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years running D2C performance marketing hands-on, with at least one account you managed solo end-to-end — structure, budgets, creatives, and results you can explain in detail.
  • Demonstrated results: specific ROAS, CAC, or growth numbers you personally delivered, verifiable in conversation and references.
  • Deep expertise in Meta Ads; working proficiency in Google Ads. Comfort with GA4, Shopify analytics, and spreadsheet-level analysis.
  • Experience managing meaningful monthly ad budgets with direct P&L consequences.
  • Self-directed working style: we provide direction, data, and targets; you determine execution.
  • Agency-coordination experience alone does not qualify — this role requires hands-on platform ownership.
