Role Overview
As a Senior Performance Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, executing, optimizing, and scaling paid marketing campaigns across Meta and Google platforms for multiple eCommerce brands. This role requires someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and has a deep understanding of customer acquisition, attribution, analytics, and conversion optimization. You should be equally comfortable analyzing campaign data, collaborating with creative teams, solving technical tracking issues, and presenting actionable insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
You will independently manage complete advertising campaigns across Meta and Google Ads, ensuring that every campaign is aligned with business objectives and profitability goals. Your responsibilities will include audience research, campaign planning, budget allocation, creative testing, bid optimization, remarketing strategies, and continuous performance improvement. You will monitor campaign performance daily, identify opportunities for scaling successful campaigns, and take corrective action whenever performance declines.
Beyond media buying, you will play an active role in improving overall conversion rates by reviewing landing pages, product pages, offers, checkout experiences, and user journeys. Working closely with designers and content creators, you will recommend winning creative angles, UGC concepts, promotional strategies, and high-converting ad copies based on campaign data and consumer behaviour.
You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate conversion tracking using Meta Pixel, Conversion API, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Merchant Center. A strong understanding of attribution modelling and data analysis is essential, as your recommendations will directly influence business decisions and advertising investments.
The role requires preparing detailed weekly and monthly performance reports, presenting campaign insights, highlighting growth opportunities, and ensuring that every account continues moving towards improved ROAS, lower acquisition costs, and sustainable revenue growth.
In this role, you will take ownership of the creative testing process by working closely with designers, video editors, and content creators to develop high-converting ad creatives. You will prepare detailed creative briefs, recommend winning hooks, messaging angles, offers, UGC concepts, static ads, video scripts, and carousel ideas based on audience insights and campaign performance. You will continuously plan and execute A/B tests across creatives, ad copies, headlines, CTAs, formats, and landing pages to identify winning combinations. Your ability to interpret data, spot creative fatigue early, and introduce fresh concepts that improve CTR, lower acquisition costs, and increase ROAS will be a key contributor to the success of every campaign.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a professional with at least four years of hands-on experience managing Meta Ads and Google Ads for eCommerce businesses, preferably on Shopify. You should have successfully managed advertising budgets ranging from ₹5 lakh to ₹50 lakh or more per month and possess a proven ability to scale profitable campaigns across multiple industries.
You should demonstrate advanced knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Google Search, Performance Max, Shopping Campaigns, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Merchant Center, and conversion tracking. Experience with Conversion API implementation, Looker Studio reporting, Excel or Google Sheets, and AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT will be considered a strong advantage.
More importantly, we are looking for someone who thinks beyond campaign metrics. You should understand business objectives, customer behaviour, profitability, lifetime value, and how paid advertising contributes to long-term brand growth.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, detail-oriented, and naturally curious. You enjoy solving complex marketing challenges, continuously testing new ideas, and making decisions backed by data rather than assumptions. You are comfortable managing multiple client accounts simultaneously, communicating professionally with clients, collaborating with internal teams, and taking complete ownership of campaign performance without constant supervision.
You stay updated with changes across Meta and Google advertising platforms, enjoy experimenting with new features and strategies, and have a genuine passion for helping brands grow through performance marketing.
Success in This Role
Success will be measured through consistent improvements in return on ad spend, customer acquisition cost, conversion rates, revenue growth, account health, campaign scalability, and overall client satisfaction. Your ability to identify opportunities, solve problems quickly, and deliver measurable business results will define your growth within the company.
