Process Overview.
Global Markets Global Valuation Group (GVG) is a division of Global Banking & Markets (GBAM) Finance responsible for providing valuation and independent price verification methodology support to Business Finance & Control (BFC) teams for execution of IPV, calculation of valuation adjustments and prudential valuation adjustments. The team is also responsible for reporting and governance across all valuation processes. Additionally, the team works on a number of regulatory deliverables related to valuations and drives the overall valuation control automation agenda in partnership with Technology and other stakeholders.
The team works closely with front office, middle office, traders, business finance controllers, market risk, quantitative risk and technology teams to drive the control agenda across the business.
Job Description.
We are looking to hire a seasoned leader in the Global Valuations Group to project manage number of regulatory deliverables for GM & GCIB Finance organization. The person will be responsible for planning of regulatory engagement through the cycle from early notification to remediation phases. They will be required to manage stakeholders from different divisions within the bank to ensure that right responsibilities are allocated to right teams and the teams deliver on those in a timely fashion. They will be helping the team put together regulatory submissions, will track progress and milestones, escalate risks as needed and facilitate issue resolution.
Given this role will be part of the valuations group and will involve interactions with senior management of technical functions, we need the person to have a deep understanding of all regulatory guidelines (like CCAR stress testing, Prudential Valuation guidelines from a PRA and ECB perspective, ICAAP etc.). Additionally, they should also have a good knowledge of financial products and their valuations. Ideally, this role will best suit a person who has already been managing such technical regulatory projects for multiple years.

Experience Range.
12-18 years of relevant experience in finance domain related to project management of quantitative/technical regulatory projects or Valuations / Valuation Governance
