Job Purpose
Purchasing Senior Officer oversees the procurement operations of the organization, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality purchasing of materials, equipment, and services. This role leads a team of buyers, coordinates with internal departments, and manages supplier relationships to support business objectives.

Responsibilities
Procurement Operations
- Manage the full procurement cycle, including sourcing, negotiation, and purchase order
- management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and budget requirements.
- Review and approve purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
- Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Supplier Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Evaluate supplier performance and conduct periodic reviews.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and service-level agreements to optimize value.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with finance, operations, logistics, and inventory teams to ensure smooth procurement workflows.
- Support project teams with timely sourcing of materials and services.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, cost analysis, and supplier performance.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and contracts.
- Ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- English proficiency, Arabic Preferred.
- Minimum 1 years of experience in procurement
