Description
We are recruiting a highly skilled Senior ASP.NET Developer for one of our prominent clients.
The ideal professional will have extensive experience in developing scalable, secure, enterprise-grade web applications using ASP.NET frameworks, C#, and Microsoft SQL Server.
The selected candidate will be involved in solution architecture, backend development, API integration and will also guide junior developers where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ASP.NET MVC / ASP.NET Core web applications
- Build and integrate Web APIs / RESTful services
- Work closely with analysts and UI/UX teams to implement business requirements
- Optimize application and database performance
- Manage SQL Server databases: stored procedures, triggers, views, replication
- Work with Entity Framework / LINQ
- Deploy applications on IIS or cloud platforms (Azure/AWS preferred)
- Use Git for version control and participate in code reviews
- Prepare reports using RDLC or Crystal Reports
- Ensure system security, scalability, and maintainability
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical design decisions
Required Technical Expertise Frameworks
- ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, Web Forms, Web API
Programming
- Strong command of C# (mandatory)
- Knowledge of VB.NET (preferred)
Front-End
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Bootstrap / Tailwind
- jQuery / React / Angular
Database & ORM
- Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, SPs, triggers, views)
- Entity Framework / LINQ
- Database performance tuning, replication, log shipping, Always On setup
Tools & Deployment
- Visual Studio / VS Code
- Git (GitHub / GitLab / Azure DevOps)
- IIS configuration and deployment
Reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 8- 10 years of proven ASP.NET development experience
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Preferred
- Experience leading or mentoring development teams
- Exposure to Agile methodologies
