About the Role:

Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and developing mechanical designs

and drawings for on-going projects. The role involves working independently or in coordination

with the core design team to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy in all

design deliverables.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software (e.g.,Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

• Support design activities for new and existing products or machinery.

• Perform design calculations and tolerance analysis.

• Update and modify existing designs as per client or production feedback.

• Coordinate with the full-time design team to ensure project alignment.

• Prepare and maintain documentation such as BOM, design reports, and revisions.

• Ensure all designs comply with company standards and safety regulations.

• Assist in prototype development and testing support when required.

Skills:

• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks / AutoCAD /Solid Edge/ Autodesk Inventor)

• Understanding of mechanical components, materials, and manufacturing processes.

• Knowledge of GD&T and standard drafting practices.

• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines independently.

Qualification & Experience:

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• Experience: 5-8 years in mechanical design
