As a Senior Engineering Manager part of Sam s E2E Engineering team, you will be responsible for enhancing existing Sam s Club eCommerce test automation infrastructure that supports E2E member journey automation, test data management, environment monitoring and integration with CI/CD delivery pipelines. You will collaborate with cross-functional software and quality engineers by building best in class automation solutions to tackle complex problems.
What you'll do:
- Lead and execute end-to-end engineering and business projects ranging from web and mobile applications built using Walmart s next generation platform using React, Redux, Node Js, back-end Java/J2EE services built using Spring, JDBC, REST, Oracle
- Lead, design and develop application environments in OneOps and other cloud infrastructure technologies such as Microsoft Azure and GCP (Google Cloud platform)
- Drive the integration of development and application environment with CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Delivery) using tools such as Jenkins, version control systems such as GIT, Azure Devops and more
- Design, develop and lead efficient and scalable productive monitoring and development tools using Javascript, Node.js, React, Redux and related technologies
- Work with Product, Engineering and DevOps teams to ensure better quality and stability of the software applications
- Drive the design and implementation of automation framework using Javascript, Jest, Babel, Lerna, Express, WebDriverIO and Puppeteer etc
- Lead the quality pillar for different scrum team across the sophisticated and complex ecommerce business applications
- Assist in populating and maintaining test data for databases such as mysql, Mongo DB and Cos-mos and writing automated scripts and tools using Java and javascript
- Lead holiday readiness efforts and lead the playbook activities for Sam s club related holiday and one day Events
- Lead and manage engineering security for e-commerce applications
- Manage, mentor and coach software engineers through their career growth, honoring their technical abilities
Your Qualifications:
- Experience testing software at API and webservice level
- Able to perform testing for feed in various formats like XML, json, EDI,csv
- Experience testing different web service methodologies REST, SOAP, over XML, JSON payloads
- Understanding of web technology including HTTP headers, HTTP Verbs (post, get, etc).
- Validating and certifying web services using Soap UI / TestNG / Cucumber etc tools
- Strong prior experience in QA test technologies such as JUnit, TestNG or equivalent technologies.
- Experience with Agile Methodologies.
- Hands-on experience working with relational database (Oracle, MySQL)
- Proficiency with client and server-side JavaScript frameworks - React.js, angular.js, node.js
- Demonstrated expertise in architecting and deploying test automation solutions at scale.
- Experience integrating E2E automated test cases in CI/CD pipeline
- Experience in leading a E2E team and coordinating with different stakeholders.
