Role Overview
- Oversee, analyze, and optimize chemical and plastic manufacturing processes.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and manage cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with departments to meet production and business goals.
- Requires deep technical knowledge, strong analytical and leadership skills, and proficiency in engineering software.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and improve manufacturing processes to boost productivity and reduce waste.
- Lead projects on process design, modification, and implementation.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards (e.g., ISO).
- Provide chemical engineering expertise for process optimization.
- Manage, train, and motivate engineering and operational teams.
- Analyze and report process performance metrics to senior management.
- Oversee budgets and allocate resources for process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain SOPs, technical documentation, and process-related drawings.
- Resolve operational issues and implement best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- 1215 years of experience in process design and manufacturing in the chemical/plastics industry.
- Strong understanding of chemical and plastic manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in process modeling software (e.g., HYSYS, Aspen Plus) and control systems.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
