Responsibilities

• Assessing risks for new group products and developing strategies to mitigate those risks
• Review reinsurance arrangements
• Regular experience monitoring of group business
• Development / Re-calibration of predictive model for demographic risk (such as mortality risk, early claims propensity model etc.)
• Calibration of economic and demographic shock factors
• Collaborate with various teams to enhance risk management practices
• Preparing presentation & report for risk Committee

Key Competencies

• Ability to work in a dynamic work environment and willingness to contribute to organizational goals
• Better understanding of reinsurance arrangement, group business
• Exposure to at least 2-3 areas of work including prophet modeling, financial risk, reinsurance, group business, embedded value, business planning, pricing, statutory reporting etc.
• Proficient in statistical models
• Ability to analyze the output and explain the results to the management
• Around 2-6 years of experience working in Actuarial function within the Life insurance industry (Core company/Actuarial consultants)
• Cleared 6-10 actuarial papers
• Proficiency in Excel/VBA, MS Office and Prophet software
