Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Chartered Accountant with 1 year of experience to handle a mix of Income-tax, GST, Audit, Accounting & MIS assignments. The role requires strong execution skills, client coordination, and the ability to guide junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Taxation (Income-tax & GST)
- Prepare & review ITRs, tax computations, TDS returns, and reconciliations
- Manage GST registrations, monthly/quarterly returns, annual returns & audits
- Handle client queries on tax matters and compliance timelines
Audit & Accounting
- Assist in Statutory & Tax audits, including working papers & documentation
- Review books of accounts, ledgers, and trial balance; support in finalization of accounts
- Ensure accounting accuracy and compliance with standards
MIS & Reporting
- Support in preparation of MIS, variance analysis, and basic financial reports
- Maintain client deliverable trackers and internal work status reports
Client & Team Management
- Act as primary/secondary point of contact for assigned clients
- Manage workflow of interns and juniors, review their work, and ensure timely delivery
- Maintain high quality control, documentation, and client servicing standards
Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical knowledge of Income-tax, GST, Accounting & Audit
- Good communication and client-handling skills
- Ability to review and guide junior team members
- Proficiency in Excel and Tally; knowledge of cloud accounting tools is a plus
- Ownership mindset, detail-oriented and deadline-driven
Education
- Chartered Accountant (CA) ICAI
- 12 years of post-qualification experience in a CA/Consulting firm preferred
