Job Description
As a Software Licensing Analyst, you will be responsible for daily, strategic management and control of Third-Party Commercial Software and licensing platforms to optimize the value, cost and risk of software. Analyst will examine software license purchases data to ensure data quality, accuracy and completeness before entry into the compliance system of record. Track, maintain and coordinate license and maintenance agreement renewals and procurement.
The Analyst will work closely with subject matter experts, including product managers, technical product managers, enterprise vendor managers, and procurement groups to obtain critical vendor and product details required to manage software license compliancy. Overall responsibility is to study and manage vendors software licenses in the Bank's software asset management tool, Flexera Network Management Suite (FNMS).
Responsibilities
This role is accountable for researching and processing all necessary purchases into the software compliance SOR FNMS in support of compliance monitoring of software products. Responsibilities including (not limited to):
- Actively participate in PO identification, extraction, and upload into FNMS.
- Accurately represent purchase orders for in scope vendors or products within FNMS to facilitate accurate license positions and re-use opportunities.
- Review, extract, and upload 3rd Party Reseller purchase data monthly and link to product records in the compliance system of record
- Review, extract, and upload Ariba PO data for in scope products
- Ability to unbundle large enterprise wide contacts/payments down to the product level for entry into the compliance system of record
- Research expired(ing) POs for newly executed replacements
- Partner with various stakeholders to clarify PO discrepancies or inadequacies
- Works independently, with limited direction, and is evaluated through end results
- Has extensive functional or professional knowledge
- Interacts extensively with internal or external contacts to identify, research, analyze and resolve complex problems
- Participate in driving process improvements

Experience Range
- Minimum Years Business & Functional Experience: 7-9 Years
Foundation Skills
- Software Compliance experience in a Global Procurement or Supply Chain Management function.
- Have worked with the Purchase Order and Invoice functions within Global Procurement and or Supple Chain management functions.
- Demonstrated understanding of how the Purchase Order & Invoicing functions work.
- Understanding of software product SKUs and software procurement catalogs including vendor punch out catalogs.
- High Volume processing of Purchase Orders
- Critical Thinking
- Ability to identify incorrect data or data quality issues with Purchase Orders
- Global Procurement and Supply Chain Mgt Tools
- Previous 3-5 years of experience using industry standard tools such as GEP Smart, Ariba, Oracle Financial or similar tools.
Desired Skills
- Experience using compliance system of records such as Flexera FNMS, Service Now SAM Module, Aspera, Snow.
- Strong verbal and written communication and time management skills
- Strong cross-functional team leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and navigate in a complex organization and dynamic environments.
