Role Purpose
Own revenue for Consumer Campaigns by selling high-impact creative solutions to Brand Managers/Marketing Heads. You'll blend media-sales hunting with consultative solutioning, shaping campaign strategy, media mix, and budget constructs that deliver demonstrable ROI.
What you'll do
- Revenue & Pipeline: Own an annual/new-logo target; run a disciplined pipeline with clear conversion metrics and forecasting.
- Consultative Solution Selling: Lead discovery with Brand/Category/Trade Marketing, craft offer mechanics (on-pack, cashback, sweepstakes, gamified promos), media mix (ATL/BTL/Digital/Retail), and budget allocations; build business cases and ROI models.
- Enterprise Deals: Navigate multi-stakeholder cycles (Brand, Procurement, Legal, CXO) across FMCG, Consumer Durables/FMCD, Retail, BFSI, Pharma; close complex, multi-year programs.
- Key Accounts & Upsell: Personally steward marquee accounts; partner with Servicing/Delivery to ensure outcomes and unlock expansions.
- Market Intelligence: Track category trends, rate cards, CPM/CPC/CPA norms, seasonal spends; feed back to Product/Marketing for better packaging and pricing.
- Team Leadership: Coach 25 Sales/AMs on deal strategy, proposals, objection handling, and executive storytelling.
Must-haves
- 10-12 years of B2B consultative sales; 5+ years leading people in high-velocity environments.
- Preferred early-career media-sales experience (25 years): day-in/day-out pitching marketing/advertising solutions to Brand Managers at agencies/publishers/ad-tech/martech.
- Proven ability to design and sell campaign budgets (ATL/BTL/Digital/Retail activations), read media plans, and defend ROI.
- Success closing complex deals with multiple decision-makers; expert negotiation for solution pricing.
- Excellent executive communication; strong proposal/pitch craft (decks, solution notes, commercials).
- Fluency in English and one major Indian language; willing to travel 50%.
Education
- Bachelor's in Mass Communication/Advertising/Marketing/Media Studies
- MBA/PGDM (Marketing/Media) preferred
