Job Title: Senior Manager / Associate Director IT Sales

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 10+ years

Industry: Information Technology / IT Services / SaaS

Reports to: Sales Director / VP Sales

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced IT Sales professional to lead enterprise-level sales initiatives, drive business growth, and forge strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in IT solution or services sales, excellent client management skills, and the ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage end-to-end sales cycles from lead generation to closure for IT solutions/services.
  • Identify and target enterprise customers across industries including BFSI, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, and more.
  • Build strong relationships with CXOs, IT heads, and decision-makers.
  • Develop and execute territory/account-wise sales strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets, growth KPIs, and sales quotas.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, delivery, and marketing teams to create compelling proposals and pitches.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Participate in pricing strategy, negotiations, and contract closures.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
  • Build and manage the overall sales function, including setting up processes, driving strategy, and leading the sales team to achieve business goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or Business. MBA is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B IT sales SaaS, managed services, cloud, or enterprise software.
  • Strong network and proven sales experience in enterprise or mid-market segments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical abilities and business acumen.
  • Proficient in CRM tools like Salesforce, Zoho, or HubSpot.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve consistent revenue and customer acquisition goals.

Preferred

  • Experience selling in global markets (US, UK, Middle East, APAC).
  • Prior exposure to consultative or solution-based selling.
  • Knowledge of IT domains like cloud, cybersecurity, ERP, or analytics.
