Role Overview:
The Senior Manager / AVP Reinsurance Sales will be responsible for driving new business acquisition in the reinsurance segment, focusing on building strategic relationships with insurers and corporates. This role demands strong market intelligence, networking, and negotiation skills to expand the company's reinsurance portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and target potential clients for reinsurance solutions (Life & Non-Life).
Develop and execute strategies to acquire new accounts and grow market share.
Establish and maintain high-level relationships with insurers, reinsurers, and brokers.
Represent the organization at industry forums and networking events.
Lead negotiations for treaty and facultative placements.
Ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms for clients.
Track industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
Provide insights for product development and pricing strategies.
Ensure adherence to IRDAI guidelines and internal compliance standards.
Maintain accurate records of proposals, agreements, and transactions.
