Position Overview:
Drive analytics maturity and value extraction across the organization.
Frame and align the analytics vision & strategy to the business strategy.
Define, design and manage the roadmap for data strategy along with C-level stakeholders.
Take accountability for executing the data initiatives within the business.
Hire, train and be a motivating mentor to the team.
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
Hands on experience with data analytics tools like SQL, Python, R needed
Knowledge of Machine learning techniques such as Predictive modelling, Time series forecasting, Text Analytics, Statistical Analysis, Optimization Techniques
Experience with AWS / GCP / MLOPS
Analytical and quantitative skills ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects (work prioritization, planning and task delegation)
History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.
Proven ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions work successfully in an ambiguous environment
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience:
4 - 6 years in an analytics role having managed a team of at least 2-3 people
Experience with Data Visualization tools such as Qliksense or PowerBI preferred
Experience in the payments space would help but not necessary
Experience with complex problem solving and analysis
Education:
Bachelors / Masters from Tier 1/2 colleges with Computer Science background
Masters in Data Science / Statistics
A top engineering college like an IIT/NIT or a degree in statistics from a premier institution
