About the role:

The Senior Manager – Accounting & Compliance will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of the organization, including accounting, compliance, and reporting. This role ensures the accuracy of financial data, supports strategic decision-making, and upholds strong internal controls and compliance with regulations. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, reporting to the Head of Finance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Be prepared to step into operational requirements as needed and accomplish tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure strong governance and compliance.
  • Oversee strategic accounting function under statutory standards and IFRS.
  • Implement and maintain dual book system (statutory and IFRS) in system.
  • Oversee day-to-day compliance operations, including taxation, corporate secretarial, and payroll functions across multiple geographies – India, UK, Australia, USA, Switzerland, Singapore & Canada.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of supporting for any statutory filings.
  • Liaison with 3rd party service providers to ensure compliance with filing deadlines
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory regulations, and reporting requirements across relevant jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external audit processes while ensuring adherence to all legal and statutory obligations.
  • Manage global taxation matters, including transfer pricing compliance and related reporting requirements.
  • Manage bespoke strategic initiatives like LE rationalisation, Tax Audits, Voluntary Disclosure etc.
  • Leverage ERP and financial systems to improve operational efficiency, automation, and management reporting capabilities.
  • Leverage AI to setup procedures and processes that reduce time and effort for meeting compliance requirements.
  • Update procedure documentation and accounting policies on timely basis.
  • Adhere to prevailing Quoreka's ISMS policies and procedures while delivering the duties.

Experience And Skillsets


  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent with 7–10 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong experience in India compliance and ability to handle global compliance
  • Hands-on experience in managing audits, with preference for candidates having exposure to both industry and Big 4 environments.
  • Qualified CS or equivalent will be an added advantage.
  • Prior experience in the IT/SaaS industry will be considered an added advantages
  • Sound knowledge of revenue recognition principles, Lease accounting,
  • Consolidation in accordance with IFRS standards.
  • High level of integrity, ethics, and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive financial information.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Exposure and ability to use AI tools and implement change
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders across levels.
