About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter with a proven track record in the Canadian job market. The successful candidate will lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, build strong candidate pipelines, and partner closely with hiring managers to support rapid growth across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end recruitment across technical and non-technical roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and offer negotiation.
- Develop effective sourcing strategies using Canadian job boards, networking platforms, campus programs, referrals, and industry events.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Advise hiring managers on market trends, compensation, availability of talent, and best hiring practices in Canada.
- Manage ATS workflows, candidate communication, and compliance with Canadian employment standards and privacy laws.
- Use data to report on hiring metrics, time-to-fill, sourcing results, and recruitment quality.
- Represent the organization as a brand ambassador to ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership on workforce planning and diversity hiring initiatives.
Required Qualifications- Mandatory Canadian recruiting experience (minimum 35+ years) in an in-house or agency environment.
- Proven success in full-cycle recruiting, including high-volume and niche searches.
- Strong understanding of Canadian labour laws, recruitment practices, and compensation structures.
- Experience working with ATS systems and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, job boards, CRM).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently with strong time-management and prioritization skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Recruitment experience across IT, engineering, professional services, finance, or healthcare sectors.
- Experience with employer branding, social media sourcing, and campus hiring programs.
- Certification in HR or recruitment (e.g., CHRP, RPR, CIR) is an asset.
