We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the Strategy & Operations team within Markets (Investment Bank) Technology in the role of Senior Lead Consultant specialist, whose primary responsibility is to solve complex organisational problems and develop strategies across a broad range of subjects to better the organisation.
The ideal candidate does not necessarily require Technology or Investment Banking experience, but a proven track record of solving complex, unstructured problems and articulating outcomes shaped towards the target audience is essential. The preferred candidate will have experience akin to roles in Consulting at Senior Consultant level, including roles directly supporting and advising a head of function / department / programme.

Strategy & Operations also ensures ESF Leadership Team governance and accountability are in place, and tackles operational matters that arise from running a business. Therefore, familiarity with operations, financials and resource management (COO-type skills) are desirable to support the ESF lead an 300 person Technology organisation
Equities & Securities Financing (ESF) Technology is a global department within Markets & Securities Services (MSS) Technology and has teams in London, Paris, New York, Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Pune - supporting businesses covering Cash Equities, Electronic Trading, Delta One and Flow Trading, Equity Derivatives, Prime Finance, SBL, Repo and Futures. The organization is rapidly transforming both its people structure and ways of working to better align with our business and increase the speed and quality of delivery. We are adopting a DevOps model driving agile delivery and building a strong product ownership group. The 2021 change portfolio is approximately $150m (including FRTB, Service Sustainability investment, Risk remediation, Regulatory change, and other discretionary change).
