Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Java developer with hands-on expertise in building and maintaining microservices using Spring Boot. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application development and architecture, with a particular focus on building scalable, high-performance solutions. You will be responsible for contributing to the design, development, and deployment of microservices-based applications while ensuring high security standards and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Microservices Development: Design and develop robust and scalable microservices applications using Spring Boot and other relevant technologies.

Architecture & Design: Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the design of scalable and efficient solutions.

Security Vulnerabilities: Identify, remediate, and address security vulnerabilities within the codebase and the deployed applications.

Multithreading: Implement efficient multithreading solutions in Java to optimize performance and resource management.

Collaboration with QA & Partner Teams: Work closely with QA teams to ensure quality delivery and collaborate with partner teams on project requirements.

Maintenance & BAU: Engage in ongoing maintenance activities, ensuring continuous improvement and smooth operation of the system in a Business-As-Usual (BAU) environment.

Cloud Exposure: Exposure to cloud technologies such as PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) and Azure is beneficial for cloud deployments and services integration.

Agile Methodology: Work in an agile environment with SDLC processes, ensuring timely delivery and updates.

Status Updates: Provide regular project updates and progress reports to leadership and stakeholders.

Technical Design: Understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions and design.

Team Leadership: Lead by example, motivating and guiding team members to achieve high-quality results and fostering an environment of collaboration.

Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot for microservices development.

Knowledge of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.

Expertise in multithreading in Java.

Experience with security vulnerability remediation and fixes.

Familiarity with cloud technologies like PCF and Azure is a plus.

Hands-on experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
