Job Overview
Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Application Support team. This is a hands-on role requiring strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, SQL, and modern DevOps practices. You will be responsible for developing scalable, modular, secure web applications, collaborating across teams to meet business and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand existing application architecture, code base, and design patterns.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand functional requirements.
- Architect, design, and develop highly modular and maintainable applications using Java, Spring Boot on the backend, and Angular on the frontend.
- Build and maintain robust, secure RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot and JPA/Hibernate.
- Develop responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces utilizing Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and related technologies.
- Optimize database design and queries with Microsoft SQL Server, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Define integration approaches and infrastructure requirements to support seamless deployment and operations.
- Implement and maintain continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins or equivalent tools.
- Utilize containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) where applicable to improve scalability and reliability.
- Apply software engineering best practices including design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and test-driven development (TDD).
- Lead debugging, troubleshooting, and reverse engineering efforts to resolve complex technical issues.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, promoting knowledge sharing within the team.
- Contribute positively to team culture by exhibiting high integrity, strong communication skills, and collaborative spirit.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience as a full stack developer working on enterprise-grade web applications.
- Expert-level proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework for backend development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular for frontend development, including TypeScript.
- Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server including advanced querying, stored procedures, and database optimization.
- In-depth knowledge of building secure, scalable RESTful services and APIs with Spring Boot and JPA/Hibernate.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration is a plus.
- Sound understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to debug and reverse-engineer complex applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work effectively across teams.
- Self-starter with high integrity, accountability, and excellent judgment.
Preferred Skills (Optional But Advantageous)
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative development environments.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and TDD methodologies.
- Exposure to front-end UI/UX principles and libraries beyond Angular (e.g., React, Vue.js).
