Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Designer specializing in modular furniture, kitchens, and wardrobes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing modular interior spaces that combine aesthetics, functionality, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet clients to understand their needs & preferences
- Prepare and present mood boards, concept designs, and material selections.
- Create detailed 2D layouts, 3D designs, and renderings for modular kitchens, wardrobes, and storage solutions.
- Design modular furniture layouts using industry-standard software Infurnia, Imos or similar
- Prefer knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, etc.
- Ensure designs are ergonomically sound, space-efficient, and aligned with modular manufacturing standards.
- Recommend finishes, hardware, and fittings suitable for modular installations.
- Coordination & Execution:
- Work closely with the production and installation teams to ensure design accuracy and timely execution.
- Conduct site visits to verify measurements and supervise installations when required.
- Prepare technical drawings, BOQs, and installation instructions.
- Maintain design files, revisions, and client approvals systematically
- Ensure all designs meet company quality standards and safety guidelines.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in modular design and materials.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design / Architecture or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in design in modular furniture and modular storage design.
- Proficiency in design software: Modular cutlist software, AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of modular furniture systems, ergonomics, and space planning.
- Excellent visualization, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of materials, fittings (Hettich, Hafele, etc.), and modular manufacturing processes is a plus.
