Client & Designer Interaction
- Attend meetings with interior designers, architects, and clients alongside the Coast to
Coast team.
- Understand client aesthetic direction, functional needs, and design vision.
- Communicate on the same professional level as the designers/architects to build
trust and rapport.
Design Translation & Technical Coordination
- Interpret design concepts and relay them accurately to the internal millwork,
production, and sales teams.
- Guide clients on material selection, finishes, veneers, panel products, millwork
feasibility, and design detailing.
- Ensure the design intent aligns with Coast to Coast's manufacturing capabilities and
technical constraints.
Project Support & Quality Assurance
- Serve as the design quality gatekeeper, ensuring deliverables reflect the client's
vision and expectations.
- Support the millwork and technical teams in preparing detailed drawings,
BOQs, and specifications.
Assist in resolving any aesthetic or technical conflicts during the design and execution stages.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Technical, and Millwork teams for client proposals, design
discussions, and site coordination.
- Participate in internal design reviews to enhance the quality of output and reduce rework.
Representation & Brand Building
- Represent Coast to Coast Designs as a design expert during key meetings and
presentations.
- Help elevate the brand perception by showcasing strong design sensibility and technical
mastery.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's in Interior Design (primary requirement).
- Architectural background or education is a major advantage (architectural work
experience).
Experience
- 5yrs + of professional experience in interior design, architecture, millwork,
modular furniture, luxury interiors, or related fields.
- Strong experience in client-facing design roles.
- Exposure to millwork, joinery, or technical detailing preferred.
- Exposure in OEM is must.
- Experience in creating production drawing and checking drawings of team.
