What You'll Be Doing :

A successful candidate for this role will own end-to-end talent acquisition while establishing scalable people operations for our growing India team. Your primary focus will be identifying, attracting, and hiring exceptional talent, while building efficient HR processes and fostering a positive employee experience that supports the organization's continued growth.

Responsibilities :

  • Own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle across technical, business, and leadership roles, partnering with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and deliver high-quality hiring outcomes.
  • Build strong talent pipelines through direct sourcing, referrals, networking, LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, and other sourcing channels.
  • Manage the complete hiring process, including interview coordination, assessments, feedback, offer management, pre-boarding, and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Track and analyse recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, source effectiveness, offer acceptance, and hiring quality, while continuously improving recruitment processes and employer branding.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment partners and agencies to support hiring needs.
  • Manage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, confirmations, promotions, transfers, exits, payroll inputs, leave administration, employee records, and HR documentation.
  • Support performance management, employee engagement initiatives, learning and development activities, and ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
  • Act as a trusted HR partner by addressing employee queries, supporting managers with employee relations matters, and fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.
  • Coordinate employee communication, engagement programs, workplace events, and wellness initiatives to strengthen culture and employee experience.
  • Support office administration through vendor management, workplace facilities, asset coordination, and other operational activities that ensure the smooth functioning of the office.
  • Partner closely with leadership on people initiatives, organizational growth, and continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition and HR, with a proven track record of hiring for technology, product, engineering, or other professional roles in fast-paced, high-growth organizations.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment, HR operations, employee lifecycle management, employee relations, and Indian labour laws.
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other recruitment tools.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, highly organised, and self-driven professional who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Passionate about attracting exceptional talent and building scalable recruitment and people processes.
  • Approachable, empathetic, and able to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution while adapting to evolving business needs.

Bonus Points

  • Experience building HR and recruitment processes from the ground up in a startup or scaling organization.
  • Exposure to hiring across multiple geographies, particularly India and the US.
  • Experience implementing or optimizing ATS, HRIS, or other People technology platforms.
  • Familiarity with employer branding, campus hiring, or employee referral programs.
  • Exposure to office administration, vendor management, and workplace operations.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent) is an advantage.
