Role Description The Senior Graphic Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for leading the visual design for a wide range of events and brand experiences. This role involves conceptualizing and creating event identities, including logos, branding elements, posters, stage backdrops, standees, digital assets, and other collateral aligned with each event's theme. The Senior Graphic Designer will collaborate closely with the creative, production, and event management teams to translate concepts into compelling visuals that work across print, digital, and on-site installations. Daily tasks include developing design concepts, refining layouts and typography, preparing production-ready files, coordinating with printers and vendors, and ensuring visual consistency across all materials. The role also includes mentoring junior designers, maintaining brand standards, and contributing ideas to enhance the overall creative quality of Renaissance's events.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with a portfolio demonstrating event-focused and brand-centric visual work.
- Proficiency in Logo Design and Branding, including creating cohesive visual identities for events, campaigns, and clients.
- Advanced understanding of Typography, layout principles, and visual hierarchy for both print and digital formats.
- Expert-level proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and related tools).
- Experience translating creative concepts into production-ready artwork for large-format prints, stage sets, and marketing materials.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Prior experience in event, entertainment, or media industries is highly desirable.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
