At Demos Project, the Senior Graphic Designer will lead visual design in a fast-paced political digital campaign. Responsible for creating, supervising, and optimizing creative assets across digital platforms, ensuring message clarity and visual consistency. The candidate must show strong creativity, technical skills, and leadership while navigating Tamil Nadu's cultural and political landscape.
Responsibilities
- Design static content like posters, carousels, infographics, thumbnails, and event graphics.
- Translate political themes into impactful visuals using Tamil cultural cues.
- Build and manage visual templates and style guides to ensure brand consistency.
- Lead and mentor junior designers, review outputs for quality, and coordinate with the Creative Director on deadlines and workflows.
- Collaborate with copywriters, video editors, social media, and ads teams to align creative goals.
- Create platform-optimized assets for Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, etc.
- Design with political sensitivity, responding quickly to events while maintaining ethical standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's in Visual Communication or related fields.
- 4-6 years of campaign or media design experience, including political campaigns.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; knowledge of Tamil typography essential.
