Senior German Trainer

Role Description The German Trainer will deliver in-person German language classes to learners at various proficiency levels in Kurukshetra. This full-time, on-site role includes planning and conducting engaging lessons, designing and implementing curriculum aligned with learning goals, and assessing learners progress through tests, assignments, and classroom activities. The trainer will provide individual feedback, support learners preparing for study abroad or language certification, and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment. Additional responsibilities include updating teaching materials, collaborating with counsellors and other trainers, and participating in academic planning and internal training sessions.

Qualifications

• Ability to teach German effectively, with experience in Teaching, Language Arts, and working with Senior School or College graduates.
• Skills in Curriculum Development, including designing lesson plans, learning activities, and assessment tools aligned with course objectives.
• Strong Communication skills for clear explanations, learner support, and collaboration with colleagues and counsellors.
• Proficiency in German language (minimum B2 level; C1 preferred), with knowledge of grammar, vocabulary, and exam-oriented preparation.
• Bachelor's degree in Languages, Education, or a related field; formal teacher training or language teaching certification is an advantage.
• Ability to create an inclusive, learner-centered classroom, manage groups effectively, and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
• Prior experience as a language trainer or school teacher is desirable, especially within test prep or international education settings.
