Fix Network is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer
We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developerwho will be both a core individual contributorand a technical mentorfor the development team.
You'll take ownership of building and optimizing critical backend and frontend components using NestJS, TypeScript, and React, while ensuring the team follows strong engineering, testing, and delivery practices.
This is a hands-on leadership role. Ideal for someone who enjoys coding, problem-solving, and guiding others to write clean, secure, and scalable software that supports a multi-region, multi-tenant platform.
Key Responsibilities
Core Development & Technical Ownership
- Act as a hands-on individual contributorresponsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining core modules within our next-generation Global POS and Operations Platform, serving multiple countries, brands, and regions.
- Take a lead role in building this platform from the ground up, establishing strong architectural foundations for scalability, localization, and extensibility.
- Design and implement APIs— including both RESTful and GraphQLendpoints — with a focus on modularity, data consistency, and developer-friendly schemas.
- Apply strong knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithmsto build systems that are both efficient and maintainable at scale.
- Build and optimize high-performance backend servicesusing NestJS / Node.js / TypeScript, ensuring smooth integration with frontend and external systems.
- Implement caching, queuing, and async workflowsusing Redisand event-driven design to support large transaction volumes and global traffic.
- Contribute to frontend componentsin React + TypeScript, maintaining clean architecture, scalability, and full internationalization (i18n)support.
- Take end-to-end accountability for code quality, maintainability, and production readiness.
Mentorship & Team Enablement
- Support and guide junior developersthrough code reviews, best practice discussions, and pair programming.
- Help establish and maintain coding, testing, and documentation standardsacross the team.
- Encourage continuous learning, collaboration, and improvement in team velocity and quality.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Implement and enforce testing standards— unit, integration, and end-to-end.
- Write and maintain automated test suitesusing frameworks such as Jest, Supertest, or Cypress/Playwright.
- Integrate testing into build pipelines and ensure every feature meets defined acceptance and performance criteria.
- Participate in post-deployment verification, debugging, and continuous improvement.
Performance, Security & Reliability
- Ensure all features meet modern standards for security, authentication, and data protection(JWTs, validation, rate limiting).
- Optimize application performance through profiling, caching, and load management.
- Contribute to observabilityby maintaining structured logging and performance metrics.
DevOps & Collaboration
- Work with Infra team to develop CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using GitLab, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.
- Support configuration and deployment readiness in multiple Docker-based environments.
- Participate in architecture reviews, sprint planning, and technical documentation efforts.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Business Partners and leadership to align on scope and delivery expectations.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack software development.
- Must have availability with overlapping working hours between EST and IST time zones to ensure real-time collaboration with North American
- Expert knowledge of TypeScript, NestJS (Node.js), and React.
- Strong foundation in API design, modular architecture, and SQL data modeling(PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, or MS SQL).
- Working understanding of Redis, caching, and asynchronous patterns.
- Proven experience writing automated testsand integrating them into CI/CD workflows.
- Familiarity with Dockerand cloud-based deployment pipelines.
- Solid understanding of application security, optimization, and internationalization (i18n).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
