Job Description
Serves as a trusted financial advisor and business partner supporting Oracle's Global Revenue Finance organization. Responsible for providing accurate financial analysis, revenue forecasting, business insights, and strategic recommendations that enable executive decision-making. Partners closely with Field Finance, Revenue Recognition team, Business Operations, Product, and senior finance leadership to drive forecasting accuracy, operational excellence, and scalable financial processes across global cloud businesses.
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue forecasting processes for assigned global business segments.
- Perform detailed analysis of Cloud revenue, consumption trends, bookings, renewals, cancellations, and revenue recognition impacts.
- Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and executive-ready business insights to support strategic planning and decision making.
- Partner with Revenue Recognition, Field Finance, Operations, Product Revenue team, and Corporate Finance teams to understand business drivers and improve forecast accuracy.
- Analyze key Cloud business metrics including ARR, Consumption, Renewals, Mid-Term Conversions, Ramp Deals, Phased Deployments, and other operational KPIs.
- Support Budget, Long Range Planning (LRP), quarterly forecasts, and month-end close activities.
- Investigate forecast variances, identify business risks and opportunities, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Prepare executive-level dashboards, presentations, and financial summaries for senior leadership.
- Drive process improvements through automation, standardization, and advanced analytics to enhance planning efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with Oracle financial policies, internal controls, revenue recognition standards, and business practices.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives and strategic projects that improve financial planning capabilities and business performance.
