Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Finance Executive to manage our financial operations, drive strategic insights, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and statutory compliance, coupled with the ability to lead financial processes that enhance business growth and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting & Reporting:
- Oversee and manage the entire accounting function, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
Financial Policies & Internal Controls:
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Ensure adherence to company financial policies and statutory requirements.
Audit & Compliance:
- Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including GST and TDS filing, preparing and filing returns, and managing tax audits.
Budgeting & Financial Analysis:
- Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and cost efficiency.
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Payroll & Statutory Compliance:
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursement and compliance with statutory requirements.
Business Support & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business decisions and drive financial performance.
- Handle daily activities like updating customer subscriptions and managing plan changes.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Lead financial reporting and analysis, presenting findings to stakeholders and making data-driven recommendations.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CA/CPA/MBA Finance preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
