Senior Finance Associate, Systems

We are looking for a driven, hands-on and dynamic professional who is excited to modernise the way finance works through process redesign, automation and AI-enabled solutions.

In this role, you will work closely with finance and business stakeholders to turn ideas into practical, next-generation solutions. You will help teams rethink end-to-end processes, implement improvements and embed new ways of working that make finance more efficient, insightful and scalable.

This role is suited to someone with a solid foundation in finance and accounting, a curious mindset, and a genuine interest in AI and digital tools. You should enjoy learning how financial reporting and operational processes work, spotting opportunities for improvement, and collaborating with others to bring better solutions to life.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end automation and transformation initiatives across finance and operations, from solution design and testing through to deployment.
• Apply AI tools responsibly and creatively to improve productivity, accelerate analysis and generate actionable insights.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on current and upcoming system and platform functionalities.
• Configure, validate and enhance business processes and systems, ensuring solutions are practical, connected and aligned across workstreams.
• Partner with finance teams to develop reports and dashboards that translate data into meaningful finance and management insights.
• Create and update training materials, user guides and support resources to help users adopt new tools and processes with confidence.
• Support in the design and testing of platform integrations to improve data and process flow across systems.
• Assist with the integration of newly acquired businesses.
• Provide finance support for reporting, controls and advisory matters.
• Stay current with finance transformation, automation and AI trends, and bring fresh ideas to the team

Requirements:

• Finance experience, with an interest in systems, digital tools and process improvement.
• Curiosity and creativity in applying AI and digital tools to practical business challenges.
• Ability to explain ideas clearly, facilitate discussions and gather requirements from stakeholders across diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organised and adapt to changing needs or timelines.
• Strong attention to detail, with clear documentation skills.
• Growth mindset, can-do attitude and willingness to experiment, learn and improve.
• Experience supporting AI, automation or digital transformation rollouts would be an advantage
