Job Summary:
As part of the
Finance Controller's team, the
Finance Executive will be responsible for assisting in accounting, reporting, compliance, and treasury operations across the company and its project SPVs.
The role requires sound accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and familiarity with finance processes in the renewable or infrastructure sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Handle day-to-day accounting entries for corporate and project SPVs (AP, AR, GL, Bank Reconciliation).
- Ensure timely posting of vendor invoices, employee expenses, and journal vouchers.
- Maintain and reconcile inter-company transactions between holding and project entities.
- Support in preparation of monthly trial balance and schedules for management review.
- Financial Reporting & MIS
- Assist in monthly and quarterly financial closings.
- Prepare MIS reports, expense tracking, and variance analysis as per reporting templates.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary financial data/supporting documents.
- Support consolidation of SPV and holding company accounts under IND-AS.
- Compliance & Audit
- Prepare and file returns under GST, TDS, PF, and ROC in coordination with consultants.
- Support statutory and internal audits by preparing schedules, reconciliation, and data backups.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory timelines.
- Treasury & Project Finance Support
- Support fund transfers, vendor payments, and bank reconciliation.
- Assist in maintaining working capital schedules and cash flow forecasts.
- Prepare documentation for loan drawdowns, disbursement requests, and compliance certificates for lenders.
- Cost & Asset Management
- Track CAPEX and OPEX expenses for solar projects.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and support capitalization and depreciation entries.
- Reconcile vendor and EPC/O&M contractor accounts periodically.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education:
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / Semi-qualified CA preferred.
- Experience:
- 35 years in accounting, finance, or audit roles.
- Experience in renewable energy, power, or infrastructure sector preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Tally Prime / SAP.
- Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookups, basic modelling).
