Title: Sr Engineer - Salesforce Developer
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to design, build, and optimize scalable Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to customize Salesforce functionality, enhance system performance, and ensure seamless integration with business processes.
Key Responsibilities
Experience
- 58 years (customize as per requirement) of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce technologies.
- Configure Salesforce components including Objects, Fields, Validation Rules, Workflows, Process Builder, Flows, Approval Processes, and Page Layouts.
- Design and implement REST/SOAP APIs, integrations, external services, and middleware-based connections.
- Translate business requirements into high-quality technical solutions that align with best practices and Salesforce security standards.
- Participate in full SDLC processes including development, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Salesforce customizations and configurations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, administrators, QA engineers, and product teams to ensure solution success.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases and recommend adoption of new features.
Requirements
Required Technical Skills
- Hands-on development experience with Apex Classes, Triggers, Batch Apex, Schedulable Apex, Test Classes.
- Strong understanding and implementation experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components.
- Proficiency with SOQL/SOSL queries, Salesforce Object Model, and security frameworks (Profiles, Permission Sets, Role Hierarchy, Sharing Rules).
- Experience with Integration technologies (REST APIs, Platform Events, Named Credentials).
- Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Salesforce CLI, VS Code, CI/CD pipelines (Copado, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps).
- Experience with Salesforce Data tools (Data Loader, Workbench, Data Import Wizard).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce Platform Events, Async Apex, OmniStudio, or API Gateway / External Services.
- Knowledge of Salesforce AppExchange packages and managed package development.
- Understanding of Salesforce architectural patterns (Governance limits, best coding practices, multi-tenant environment).
- Exposure to Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing/SFMC or Industry Clouds is a plus.
- Salesforce certifications like:
- Platform Developer I (Required/Preferred)
- Platform Developer II
- Salesforce Administrator
