Role Description The Senior Engineer Project and Planning role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru South. This role is responsible for leading project planning activities, including defining scope, setting timelines, and coordinating resources across engineering and cross-functional teams. The Senior Engineer will oversee project execution, monitor progress against milestones, and proactively address risks and issues to keep deliverables on track. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing technical and project documentation, collaborating with stakeholders on requirements and design reviews, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards. The role also involves mentoring junior team members, optimizing processes, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering function.
Qualifications
- Strong project planning and scheduling skills, including experience with project management tools and methodologies.
- Solid engineering background with experience in overseeing complex technical projects from conception to completion.
- Ability to analyze requirements, prepare detailed documentation, and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven capability in risk assessment, problem-solving, and decision-making in fast-paced environments.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience in a senior or lead engineering role, preferably within project-based or consulting environments.
- Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices relevant to engineering projects.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru South and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive workplace.
